Mexico Wind EnergyFomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V., doing business as FEMSA, is a Mexican multinational beverage and retail company headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico.   As a result of of its positive experience related to four wind farms that produce clean energy for consumption, FEMSA is now considering to make clean energy investments in Latin America.

The Director of Energy for FEMSA, Víctor Treviño, recently told Caracol Radio that the company is forming strategic allianzes with project development firms in the clean energy environment that will allow them to cover in part and perhaps eventually all of the company’s plant production related energy consumption of its operations.
